À¯¿£¼¼°è°ü±¤±â±¸(UNWTO) Á¶»ç°á°ú¿¡ µû¸£¸é, 2019³â ¾Æ½Ã¾Æ ÅÂÆò¾ç Áö¿ªÀÇ °ü±¤°´ ¼ö´Â ¶Ç ´Ù½Ã °æÀÌÀûÀÎ ¼ºÀå¼¼(¾à 6%)¸¦ ±â·ÏÇÏ¿´´Ù. °¡°è °¡Ã³ºÐ¼Òµæ Áõ°¡¿Í ºñÀÚ ¹ß±Þ ¿ÏÈ­´Â Áß±¹°ú Àεµ°¡ ¾Æ½Ã¾Æ ÅÂÆò¾ç Áö¿ª¿¡¼­ °¡Àå Å« ¾Æ¿ô¹Ù¿îµå ½ÃÀåÀ¸·Î ºÎ»óÇϴµ¥ °¡Àå Å©°Ô ±â¿©ÇÑ µÎ °¡Áö ÁÖ¿ä ¿äÀÎÀ¸·Î ºÐ¼®µÇ¾ú´Ù. °è¼ÓµÇ´Â ¹Ì-Áß ¹«¿ª ºÐÀï¿¡µµ ºÒ±¸ÇÏ°í Áß±¹ °ü±¤°´ ¼öÀÇ µÎµå·¯Áø ¼ºÀå¼¼´Â Áö¿ª ³» °ü±¤ÀÇ ¼ö¿ä¿Í °ø±ÞÀÌ È°¹ßÇÏ°Ô ÀÌ·ç¾îÁö°í ÀÖÀ¸¸ç, ¾Æ½Ã¾Æ ÅÂÆò¾ç Áö¿ªÀÌ ¼¼°è °ü±¤»ê¾÷ÀÇ Áß½ÉÀ¸·Î °Åµì³¯ °ÍÀ̶ó´Â Àü¸ÁÀ» µÞ¹ÞħÇÏ°í ÀÖ´Ù.

Tourism arrivals in Asia Pacific is set for another stellar year of growth (circa 6%) in 2019 according to the United Nations World Travel Organisation (UNWTO). Growing purchasing power and enhanced visa facilitation were sited as being two of the largest factors contributing to this increase, with China and India being the largest outbound markets across the region. This growth is despite the ongoing trade dispute between China and the USA and highlights the strong intra-regional travel, making Asia one of the more decoupled destinations from factors in the West.

   
 


Áß±¹ÀÇ °æÁ¦¼ºÀå µÐÈ­¿¡µµ ºÒ±¸ÇÏ°í, Äݸ®¾î½º ÀÎÅͳ»¼Å³ÎÀº ¿ÃÇØ °ü±¤°´ ¼ö°¡ ¾à 5% ¼ºÀå·üÀ» ±â·ÏÇÒ °ÍÀ¸·Î ¿¹»óÇÏ°í ÀÖ´Ù. ¹Ì-Áß ¹«¿ªºÐÀï¿¡ µû¸¥ ºÒÈ®½Ç¼º, ¿ÜÈ­À¯Ãâ, ÁöÁ¤ÇÐÀû ¸®½ºÅ©, À¯°¡ µî¶ô µîÀº ¾àÁ¡À¸·Î ÁöÀûµÇ³ª, 2020³â µµÄì¿¡¼­ÀÇ ÇÏ°è ¿Ã¸²ÇÈ, ÇϳëÀÌ¿¡¼­ óÀ½ ¿­¸®´Â Æ÷¹Ä·¯ ¿ø(F1) ±×¶ûÇÁ¸®, ¿©·¯ ´ëÇü MICE À̺¥Æ® ¹× Áö¼ÓÀûÀÎ °¡Ã³ºÐ¼ÒµæÀÇ Áõ°¡ µîÀº °­Á¡À¸·Î ²ÅÈù´Ù.

Despite a slowing China, we expect tourist arrivals to grow circa 5% in 2020. The summer Olympics in Japan, Hanoi's first F1 Grand Prix, the return of several large MICE events and continued growth in disposable income should underpin this performance in 2020. However, headwinds prevail. Key risks will remain any further escalation of the US/China dispute, forex movements, geo-political events and oil prices.

Áö¿ª Àüü¿¡ ½Å±Ô °ø±ÞµÇ´Â ¹°·®¿¡ ÀÇÇØ ¼ö¿ä°¡ Èí¼öµÊ¿¡ µû¶ó 2019³âµµ ¾Æ½Ã¾Æ ÅÂÆò¾ç Áö¿ªÀÇ Æò±Õ RevPAR°¡ Àü³â´ëºñ ¾à 0.8% Áõ°¡Çϸç ÇÑÇظ¦ ¸¶¹«¸® ÇÒ °ÍÀ¸·Î ¿¹»óµÈ´Ù. ÇâÈÄ °ø±Þ ÆÄÀÌÇÁ¶óÀÎÀ» °í·ÁÇÏÀÚ¸é, 2020³â¿¡´Â ´ëºÎºÐÀÇ Áö¿ª¿¡¼­ ¼ö¿ä¿Í º¸ÇÕÀ» À¯ÁöÇÒ °ÍÀ¸·Î º¸À̸ç, 2021³â¿¡ À̸£·¯ ÇöÀúÈ÷ ÁÙ¾îµé °ÍÀ¸·Î Àü¸ÁµÈ´Ù. ÀÌ´Â ¿¹³â¿¡ ¹ß»ýÇÑ °ø±Þ·®ÀÌ ÀÏÁ¤ ºÎºÐ Èí¼ö µÉ °ÍÀ» ÀǹÌÇÑ´Ù´Â Á¡¿¡¼­ Áß¿äÇÑ ½Ã»çÁ¡À» °®´Â´Ù. ÀÌ¿Í °°Àº ¼ö±Þ¿¡ µû¸¥ °´´Ü°¡ »ó½ÂÀº Áö¸®-°æÁ¦-Á¤Ä¡Àû ¿ªÇ³¿¡ ÈÖû´ë´Â °´½ÇÁ¡À¯À²¿¡µµ ºÒ±¸ÇÏ°í 2020³â Æò±Õ RevPAR 1.0% »ó½ÂÀ» °ßÀÎÇÒ °ÍÀ¸·Î ±â´ëµÈ´Ù. °¢ ¼¼ºÎ ½ÃÀ庰 ¿¹»ó ´Ü±â ½ÃȲÀ¸·Î´Â, Áß¾Ó¾Æ½Ã¾Æ¿Í ³²¾Æ½Ã¾Æ, µ¿³²¾Æ½Ã¾Æ ¼¼ Áö¿ª¿¡¼­ °¡Àå ³ôÀº ¼ºÀå·üÀÌ ±â´ëµÇ¸ç Áß±¹ Àü¿ª¿¡¼­´Â RevPAR ¼ºÀåÀÌ ÁÖÃãÇÒ °ÍÀ¸·Î º¸ÀδÙ.

   
 

We expect RevPAR across Asia Pacific to finish the year circa 0.8% up on 2018, with demand being tempered by new supply across the region. With some notable exceptions, we note that the supply pipeline across Asia is expected to remain in line with demand for 2020, before further dropping off in 2021. This should allow some absorption of the new supply witnessed in previous years. As such, we expect RevPAR across Asia Pacific to increase by circa 1.0% in 2020, underpinned by at least inflationary growth in average room rates, as room occupancy slides slightly or remains flat as headwinds prevail. Central and South Asia, together with South East Asia are likely to be the highest growth markets, whilst, we expect further negative RevPAR growth across China.
